Prenatal Class in Southeast LA – Postpartum Care
Join our free prenatal class in Southeast LA on Tuesday, September 1, at our Tweedy Health Center, and learn what to expect during the postpartum period, including the physical and emotional changes that can occur after childbirth.
This class will help you understand how to manage common physical changes after delivery, including discomfort, healing, fatigue, and body changes during recovery. You’ll also learn about breast care, emotional adjustments after birth, and the difference between normal “baby blues” and postpartum depression (PPD). We’ll discuss warning signs that may require medical attention and provide resources to help you feel supported and confident as you navigate life after your baby arrives.
