One of those individuals who has been with us since our founding 8 years ago, is Via Care’s Chief Operating Officer, Lourdes Olivares.  Lourdes is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Via Care, along with the organization’s program management.  She is a graduate UCLA, where she studied Sociology in addition to Chicano/Chicana studies and Spanish Literature.  She later attended USC, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work.  She’s also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. 

Lourdes’ “can-do” spirit is an inspiration around here, and if you ever have the pleasure of meeting her, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.  One of her passions is serving as a resource and mentor to Via Care’s newer team members, and she still finds time to be active in the community as a volunteer, making a positive difference.
