Backpack and Supplies Drive
In recognition of National Health Center Week, August 13th – 19th 2018, Via Care is sponsoring a Back to School Health, Wellness and Safety Fair on Saturday, August 18th from 10 am - 2 pm for the entire family. Medical and Dental screenings will be provided along with informational booths, a kids corner, raffles and prizes, free backpacks for kids and more!

Via Care is excited to help the children in our community by supplying them with a new backpack full of school supplies to kick off the school year. Our goal is to ensure that the children in our community start their best foot forward. Having the proper supplies allows them to feel confident that they can succeed in a classroom environment.
Donations will be accepted from July 2nd – August 10th, 2018 at our HQ located at 501 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90022.

Organizations and groups can get involved by conducting their own drives and collecting backpacks and supplies at their offices, schools, churches, or community centers. Those wishing to make a monetary contribution in lieu of, or with their backpack and supplies donation, may send a check made out to Via Care (write “Backpack Drive” in memo section) and mail to Via Care 501 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90022, Attention: Development Department.
Help Us Help Others
Coat & Blanket Drive
Via Care is collecting, new or clean and gently used infant & school age children coats, jackets, hoodies, blankets, scarves, hats, diapers and new socks for their patients in need. Items will be distributed during Via Care’s Annual Toy Giveaway on December 21, 2018.

Participating in the Coat and Blanket Drive is an easy way for you to teach your students about donating to those in need, or for you and your family to pass along items you no longer need, to help those most vulnerable, as the weather becomes colder during the winter season.
Those wishing to donate new or gently used coats and blankets can drop them off at our HQ located at Via Care 501 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90011. Donations will be accepted from October 1st – December 21st, 2018

Those wishing to make a monetary contribution in lieu of, or with their coat/blanket donations, may send a check made out to Via Care (write “Coat Drive” in memo section) and mail to Via Care 507 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90011, Attention: Development Department.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
Helping our Patients with Food for the Holidays
If you have ever wanted to do something but don’t know how to help, here is your chance. As they say “hunger has a cure.” It is easy. Let’s feed the kids!

A significant number of our pediatric patients and families are in need of our help and with food assistance.
​
Our goal is to help provide food for the Holidays so our Via Care families in need will have food on their tables.
​
We are committed to assisting many families this year. The need is great!
​
We will be collecting non-perishable food at our HQ located at 501 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90011 from November 1st thru November 21st. All non-perishable items are welcome.

You can help!
We need help from friends like you to provide toys to children in need this holiday season. By donating to our toy drive, you will help make a difference in the lives of the low-income patients we serve at Via Care.
Get your neighborhood, workplace, or church involved in offering help and hope to those in need.

We will be collecting toys, sports gear, stuffed animals, games and books and gift cards for our deserving pediatric patients at our HQ located at 501 S. Atlantic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90011 from December 3rd – December 21st for children ages 1 month – 10 years old.
